The Vitamin D Council recommends around 5,000 IU of vitamin D per day. ThyVita provides 4,000 IU per day when taking the full 3-caplet serving. If you think you may need more or less than that, it’s best to speak with your doctor so they can check your levels and determine whether additional supplementation is necessary.

ThyVita is designed to support your thyroid treatment — not replace your thyroid medication. In many cases, ThyVita can take the place of multiple other supplements, unless your doctor has prescribed higher or lower doses than what’s included in our formula.
